Selma deserved more than Best Song to be honest. It isn't sentimental or cringe-worthy like The Butler. Oyelowo's performance is a powerhouse.

Yeah, but The Butler actually works as a film. Daniels can actually string images together to tell a story.

DuVernay can not.
