I'm not that disappointed. Actually, I'm pleased with the nominations. Although Rush is one of my favorites this year, we all knew it wouldn't get anything (Bruhl had a chance, but it was a long shot). Same with Prisoners, which got a well-deserving cinematography nomination. The only disappointment is Her, which should have been nominated for Best Actor and others.
I couldn't be more happy for Wolf. Scorsese, Leo and Hill totally deserve their nominations.
All in all, I'm not surprised at all. I knew how most categories would look like, so it's no disappointment or surprise.

In other news, 10 nominations? Yeah... no.
Is it just me, or is it kind of obvious that 12 Years a Slave will win for Best Picture?
The more I look at these nominations and the more I check it with my own list... I feel like I want to shoot myself.
Thank God this year I won't care much about the oscars. Somebody needs to give me a chocolate or something so I can forget all of this and keep up with more important issues like... real life and shit.

I'm a troll because one of my favorite movies of the year was nominated? lolm4st4 wrote:Troll alert, troll alert.Law wrote:hater alert hater alertm4st4 wrote:American Bullshit Nominations for American Hustle.

if anything, the academy is trolling the public with those 10 nominations
It would be the obvious, safe choice. I hope that Gravity doesn't win, my wish would be The Wolf or Her.MiracleSleeper2 wrote:Is it just me, or is it kind of obvious that 12 Years a Slave will win for Best Picture?
