I doubt
she’s officially replacing Craig as the next “Bond”, but it’ll be interesting to see how they’ll deal with it if she takes over the 007 code name. Maybe her character will die, which I seriously doubt but who knows
Also
they say she’s “certainly not at the beginning” into Bond. So Bond still will be getting it lmao

The context only works with the Spectre status quo. Presumably Craig's successor will be James Bond 007.

I imagine it much like the TDK trilogy where Nomi functions as a John Blake type character and continues on as 007 after Bond decides to choose life and hang up the holster. Then with Bond 26 we reboot again and start from scratch.
