Crazy Margaret Qualley is working with two genius auteurs in the same year as a breakout.
Hopefully Hideo gives us so some feet action as well.

Lol. I don’t think he’s ever.

Currently going through Horizon only because of this. Decima engine is insane.

Decima is indeed an amazing engine, HZD is nothing if not gorgeous with rich and dynamic gameplay.

the central story is kind of convoluted nonsense, sadly. prince said it was like avatar, but avatar is all about sweeping emotionally available archetypes, this is too much of a mess to work on that level.

can't wait to see what kojima san will do with it.

Could this story be convoluted though? I am a bit confused with some of it lol. Visuals look astonishing.

Of course the plot will be incomprehensible, but with Kojima that’s a feature not a bug. His games are basically dense philosophical text art installations masquerading as stealth action games.

Fair enough. I guess that is why he likes Refn so much lol.

Man I honestly pray Hideo gets into film-making one day. He's so talented. I'm blown away and so excited for this

The story will be insanely convoluted, but most of it will come together well if MGS is anything to go off. And the originality and themes his games contain and are willing to explore make up for whatever pieces don't fit together perfectly. Gameplay details are also off the chain/pushing limits in each game he's done, so this will most likely be similar. Just expect some pretty on-the-nose monologues at points lol

I find it interesting that Kojima seems to be getting specific about America's current political climate through this game and his synopsis he posted on Twitter only solidifies that.
