Hi everybody! I've been following this website for some time now, but I never participated until now.
I'm a young artist from the Netherlands, and (of course) I'm a huge admirer of Chris Nolan's work.
I'd really like to compliment you and thank you for this great website. Great info, great design, and great forums. You've all given me a lot of inspiration. Thanks guys!

To celebrate the start of shooting of TDKR tomorrow, I figured it might be a nice occasion to show you a little tribute to Nolan I did last month. It's an acrylic painting on wood, with a Dark Knight reference in it ;)
I'm anxious to hear your thoughts!
Hope you like it!

Hahaha! I'm sorry, you're absolutely right! I completely bent the truth to fit my interpretation. :shh: I tried to experiment with a limited palette, and muted all of the orange with shades of green.
But hey...maybe he's just watching a sneak preview of Green Lantern, right? ;)

Thanks for the comments guys, I really really appreciate it!!

(And yeah, Nolan4life, I would love to get it to Mr. Nolan somehow. But I guess that would be impossible to do..)

Great job, Ruben! I like the greenish tones, and the likeness is perfect!
