in TDK, both Harvey and Dent became villains...Dent to the audience, and Batman to Gotham
Agreed 100%. It's hard, if not impossible, to be the hero all the time, the one everyone looks up to and admires.

This quote resonates in TDKR as well. If Bane died in the pit after saving
