I've heard some tidbits of information thrown around over the years that the hong kong scenes were filmed and this and that but had to eventually be done on green-screen or something... was any of the footage they got then actually 'good'? Does anyone know what was scrapped and what wasn't?

To those who care (I'd just edit my post but I thought I'd bump this for the reason I'm posting), I found out that all the photography of the Hong Kong shoot were used, they were just used in the background to Bale jumping (that part I knew, I didnt' know they used their own photography and all that), and originally they planned to have him jump and 'glide' whilst being connected to a helicopter, and have another one trail it. Pretty badass.
