in the dark knight when the joker tells batman were harvey dent and rachel ar, batman tells gordon he was going to save rachel so gordon said he would sabve harvey but the batman is the one that saves harvey and gordon is the one that is in the place where rachel died.

Joker switched the addresses of Dent and Rachel. He knew Batman would run to save Rachel and also that batman would to get there faster than gordon. Joker wanted to kill rachel and used this sweet little trick to do that
