What I've always wondered is Why did they choose to go with a brown color pallet? that always seemed odd to me.

I was never particularly fond of the international posters. It just doesn't seem right. The posters have no real relation to the film at all. It's just bats flying around in the city of that country.

there's one poster which wasn't chosen for the promotion, i saw it on the blu-ray pictures gallery...

it had Bruce in the cave, and his reflection (as Bats) in the lake below him.
very very amazing, what a pity they rejected it. Maybe because of Star Wars III coming up...
