Here's another great read. Too bad Nolan wasn't available to comment.

And damn, can't believe this is already 10 years old. Such an underrated flick that's also, quite possibly, the most influential film of the 21st century what with the reboot craze and all that.

I just learned that Mark Wahlberg was offered the role of Batman in this film by Warner Bros. but he turned it down.

Crisis averted. By the way this film has aged like a fine wine.
