Let's see what Batman comics influenced BB.

Obviously Batman Year One by Frank Miller is the biggest inspiration to this one even by the ending. Nolan also borrowed from Denny O'Neil and Neal Adam's unique 70s take even the way Gotham is portrayed. A bit of Joseph Loeb's Long Halloween is included here as well.

Actually, I'd go to the first volume of Legends of The Dark Knight from 1989. Its origin story is almost identical. There's also a scene in a 2002 Batman comic, the name of which I don't remember, that inspired the opening scene in prison, where Bruce gets bullied by local inmates and decides to fight them back.
