Batman proven to be able to fly? This article ( http://thecelebritycafe.com/feature/201 ... -would-die ) answers exactly that. Four students from the University of Leiceste used physics to prove that Batman's cape is capable of helping Batman fly. But it would be impossible for Batman to land safely.
