Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

Lame...just goes to show the bias against practical effects and the category has become nothing but awarding a bunch of tired, over-done CGI in mediocre films.

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

Sorry but not going to happen...Oppenheimer is not getting 50 million US from Japan. The new Godzilla film has only grossed 26 million so far in Japan.

Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

Was that David Krumholtz deleted tweet about Oppenheimer not being on some critics' lists? Actually, reading the films on the vanity fair list and that critic has very certain taste that are just not mainstream Hollywood. Get use to it, many critic's list are going to be like that. However, Oppenhei...

Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

Killers of the Flower Monn won best picture from New York film critics...which I found surprising, I'd though it go to Past Lives, Poor Things, All of Us Strangers, etc. A smaller, more indie type flick. Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

Haven't seen Killers of the Flower Moon, yet...troubling finding the time. But I don't see it as Oppenheimer's biggest competition. I know people are pitting the two against each other on Oscar sites, etc. But I feel Oppenheimer's bigger threats will be something in much different style like upcomin...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

People on twitter going after "Oppenheimer" because James Woods, who is a piece of shit, had a stupid/insensitive tweet about Israel/Palestine...though they fail to realize that Woods has in-name only executive credit just because he had rights to the book many years ago. He had nothing to do with t...
