Re: World War Z 2 (2020)
I hope Fincher's next film will be a massive box office hit so it can give him some leverage when it comes to at least one future project. He's always in a clinch with studios not wanting to give him all the money he thinks he needs for his films. Gone Girl was a massive box office hit yet studios ...

Re: Untitled Nolan Film - General Information/Discussion/Speculation
I'd love to see him tackle high fantasy. Make his own Lord Of The Rings or Game Of Thrones with a lot of practical effects.

Re: Last Night In Soho (2020)
I think The World's End is Wright's best movie. And I really liked the ending.

Re: Cast "Untitled 2020 Event Film"
I'd like to see him work with Christian Bale, Andy Serkis, Scarlet Johansson, Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, and Mark Rylance again.
As for new actors it'd be cool if he worked with Bryan Cranston, Saoirse Ronan, Mathew Rhys, Joaquin Phoenix, Winston Duke, Olivia Cooke, Cate Blanchett, and Jim Carrey.

I know it's to early to start a trailer thread but we may are going to have the first teaser sometime between Once Upon A Time In Hollywood and It Chapter 2.

Re: Star Wars Universe Discussion Thread
I don't know what I would have done differently but resetting things to like they were in at the beginning of A New Hope is the sequel trilogy's ultimate flaw. Since the fundamental point of the films is to see the story of the original trilogy continued and that's why the entire audience even watch...

Re: Controversial Opinions About Movies Part II
I still have a large amount of Hitchcock I haven't seen but I seriously think Rebecca might be his best film. It's definitely the best of what I've seen and I would put over the likes of Vertigo and Rear Window.

Re: The French Dispatch (2019)
Contrary to prior reports, the movie, his tenth, is not a musical. According to one source close to the production, “The French Dispatch” is a love letter to journalists set at an outpost of an American newspaper in 20th-century Paris and centers on three storylines. As usual the movie features a m...

Re: Nolan's Next Film
Just saw Nolan in an elevator in NYC. I asked wtf his deal was and why tf he hasn't announced his new film yet. He stood silent and walked out of the elevator once the doors opened. As they closed, he turned around and said "are you watching closely?". So that's a sign why are people genuinely beli...
