Just saw TDKR, here's my review ( big time Spoilers)

Hey, glad you liked the review, really to do the film justice I'd have to write a small book, but my mind was bursting with all the images and excitement from the film and I just had to type it out as fast as I could. Anyway, about the stock market thing... As far as I can tell, Bane and his goons h...

Which of Nolan's Bat-films is your favourite ? Spoilers !

Hey folks, Who wants to contrast, compare and even rate the Nolan Bat-films against each other ? I'll start, I'm going to go with TDKR. Why ? I'm glad you asked ! In both BBegins and TDK we see Bruce pushed, but never as far as he goes in TDKR. The 3rd film shows us Bruce at his very lowest, both sp...

For people who've seen the film [Spoilers]

Yeah, fair call.... ... the fusion thing fits tidily into the story and is a good story point, but Nolan is striving for realism, notice that Batman doesn't do the old cape glide in this film. I'm not saying it doesn't work, just that there were easier ways of doing it, but I suppose the project is ...

Just saw TDKR, here's my review ( big time Spoilers)

Hey here's a video of fan reactions after the 6:30 screening of TDKR last night, the first audience in NZ to see the film. The really dorky guy with glasses in the Batman t-shirt is ME ! http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/film/7307964/Review-The-Dark-Knight-Rises I look like a massive geek, but I ...

For people who've seen the film [Spoilers]

I liked the ending, here's why.... I liked the ending. One of the themes running through the trilogy has been "escalation", which is what Gordon says at the end of BBegins. What do we get in the next film, exactly that. Batman saves the ferry hostages from the Joker and takes down Harvey Dent at the...

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

Have seen the film twice. 10 out of 10 stars!
I found TDKR ending more emotional than TDK, and I loved TDK. Its the emotional payoff we ve been waiting for since Batman Begins in 2005.

It's your opinion that matters

have seen the film twice now. loved it even more the second time. If any of you have doubts see it twice, then decide. I concur
with all of those who found the ending satisfying, it truly is, especially the very last
shot. Nolan has done himself,
and us, the fans, complete justice.

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

I feel a bit sorry for idealist, because you're denying yourself enjoyment of a truly epic film I kind of agree with the ending needing perhaps a little more ambiguity in the cafe scene (maybe they could have cut it quicker, don't know). Personally, I still feel it works. As for the Robin thing, I'm...

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

Hi idealist, I have to disagree with you, and I hope you feel differently after seeing the film. But everyone is entitled to their opinion Personally, I though the ending worked. Call me sentimental, but I needed to see Bruce have some sort of payoff for all the crap he's been through. Early on in t...
