Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)
Well maybe I'm in the minority on this but I'm super excited by what I saw. The music and presentation rings with nostalgia and resurrection of the franchise. The dialogue in this trailer does as well "There were stories about what happened." "It's true. All of it." Gave me shivers. I don't care if ...

Re: Sicario (2015)
I'm pretty pissed that I went to see Crimson Peak instead of this last Thursday night. At least my theater is keeping Sicario for one more week so I'm definitely going to try and see this Wednesday afternoon. Glad to hear it's received rave reviews from here!

Re: HBO's The Leftovers
Incredible episode tonight. I think it's the best one so far this season. So much to digest from it Meg becoming the new leader of the Guilty Remnant and her raping of Tom was very unexpected. Then this gets blown away by the ending. It's left just ambiguous enough that they can take it either way. ...

Re: Crimson Peak (2015)
Stephen King: Was treated to a screening of Guillermo del Toro's new movie, CRIMSON PEAK, this weekend. Gorgeous and just fucking terrifying. Stephen King: CRIMSON PEAK electrified me in the same way Sam Rami's EVIL DEAD electrified me when I saw it for the first time way back in the day. :blank: N...

Re: James Franco To Direct Movie About The Making Of 'The Ro
Franco should do a decent job as Wisseau. He's a very good actor but I'm not sure he'll capture the physical weirdness of the man haha. Frankly, Franco is too good looking for this role. If I had to pick I would choose Jaoquin Phoenix to play Wisseau. I'm not saying Phoenix is ugly as much as he doe...

Re: HBO's The Leftovers
First two episodes have been really solid. I really like the Murphys, especially John, and I like the direction they've taken the original characters. The way Kevin's condition interacts with the Murphys and the world of Miracle should be fascinating. As we've already seen it come into relevancy at ...

Re: HBO's The Leftovers
Since the second season premiered on Sunday to solid reviews I decided to marathon the first season and became so obsessed with it I watched them all in two nights. The show has a relatable human nucleus surrounded by thought provoking mysteries and existential drama that rivals the best of True Det...

Re: Southpaw (2015)
Consensus is pretty much what one would expect from the get go. The plot is predictable, sappy, and full of cliches but Gyllenhaal elevates it with a great performance that nearly redeems the film. I think I'll check it out this weekend.

Agreed. This was my favorite episode so far. I especially enjoyed the scene with
