What problems/issues you had with Inception?

You mean 'suggestive' in the sense of 'suggesting too much of what's to come' or in the older sense "suggestive" was often used for (of referring to sexual matters)? (The latter seems unlikely! But I'm curious about what you mean, here--maybe something entirely other than these guesses.) I actually...

NOLAN, A BELIEVER IN THE SUPERNATURAL?

Nolan has no time for such nonsense. That's my impression, too. Even with the most outlandish of plot developments (I'm looking at you, The Prestige ), Nolan seems to go for the 'can be explained by science even if not the science of our present-day ' explanation. He's not one for hand-waving away ...

Nolan, a believer in the supernatural? (Seems unlikely...)

... But how could two unconnected dreamers hold a conversation with each other? Hmmm, good question. -In the inception job, Saito and Fischer were dropped to Limbo - unconstructed and unlimited dreamspace - involuntarily. Now my theory about Limbo is that anyone can end up there, if you happen to b...

How did Cobb and Ariadne get into Limbo? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

I put to you this question. If Cobb and Mal were in limbo because they kept going deeper and deeper, how is this possible, if the dreamer cannot go into another dream? Is that ever established in the film, that a dreamer can't go into another dream? Or is that just a "buddy system" safety net, to a...

What problems/issues you had with Inception?

Came across as pretty hoyay.
I can't say that it's ever occurred to me to think of it that way--but I guess I can see how it might give that impression.

What problems/issues you had with Inception?

Bit of the dialogue between Saito and Cobb is a bit suggestive. You mean 'suggestive' in the sense of 'suggesting too much of what's to come' or in the older sense "suggestive" was often used for (of referring to sexual matters)? (The latter seems unlikely! Near-perfection; snow-level battle could be more involving

Everything is flawless. Could watch this movie all the time, especially the ending. I, too, enjoy watching this movie over and over again. My only minor quibble is that the snow-fortress-level battles in the snow-cats, etc., don't reach the level of fascination provided by the hotel-level battle. (...

Top vs. Ring: Theories About the End

As many have noted, Nolan's use of the wedding ring is impressively consistent throughout the movie. We see the ring on Cobb's finger in scenes that are clearly marked as being dreams, or as Cobb-described flashbacks; and we see Cobb's ringless finger in scenes not clearly marked as being dreams. Mu...

Welcome to the forums!

A lot of good reading lies ahead of me here, I can see. :) Yo Ta. Possibly I will be writing a bit here and there, too, having read the rules for posting. I see this site quoted a fair amount on other sites, so figure you must be a pretty respectable bunch, and well worth any serious movie-lover's ...
