Nope that's Sam Mendes...

Re: Cast

Depending on the storyline, the remaining figures to be cast will likely be the key scientist who worked on the Manhattan Project, one name Klaus Fuchs was a Soviet spy. Though, it seems like with the casting of Strauss with RDJ, a big part of the storyline will be Oppenheimer's falling out with US ...

Re: Robert Downey Jr. will play Lewis Strauss

Been such a long time since we've seen Downey play anything but a glib, sardonic character and whatever Doctor Dolittle was, will be interesting to see...

Yeah, count me in the group that was underwhelmed....it was fine enough, cool production values, I'll watch part two....but found the characters lacking, especially with the great cast and was really tired of all the visions/dreams of Paul's we kept getting...

Re: The Batman (2022)

Looks like Reeves is trying to out Nolan's films with an EVEN more realistic, dark, and brooding take on Batman. Kinda wish they would of went in a different direction, something in the style of the previously mentioned Animated Series or Arkham video games...

Re: Cast

The film could /should feature several real life historical figures like Einstein, FDR, Truman, J. Edgar Hoover, etc. I wonder if Nolan will go with famous actors or more "unknowns" for those parts...

Re: House of the Dragon (TV)

Seems like general audiences has been unhappy with every Star Wars movie since Empire, but plenty of people come back for the next one. Even with all the gripping after the end of the previous series, people will still watch this new series...

Re: Untitled Oppenheimer Project - General Information

The opening of this movie should be either the Nagasaki or Hiroshima bombing in IMAX. Maybe open with the Nagasaki bombing and end it with Hiroshima? If Nolan goes that route, he's gotta be real careful how he portrays such scenes. Many people (myself included) would have "issues" with the bombings...

Re: Untitled Oppenheimer Project - General Information

I'm sorry but the six week black out period required by Nolan is a little much...especially if Universal wants to release some type of kid's movie or a horror flick, or even Fast and Furious 15, they are completely different demographics and wouldn't hinder Oppenheimer's box office.

Re: Untitled Oppenheimer Project - General Information

From the variety article, it mentions: "It will also follow Oppenheimer’s later decision to call for more international control of nuclear weapons and his eventual opposition to the development of the hydrogen bomb." Could be a little insight into how Nolan will approach Oppenheimer as a character, ...
