I think I read somewhere that they chose to shoot other scenes than scheduled on some particular rainy days.Dobson wrote:I'm wondering how Nolan will keep continuity on screen with the changing weather and tide. I hope they adjusted to it while filming at least a bit, or otherwise it'd be ridiculous.

@StylesMovieNews (who has researched the ships a lot) believes it represents the Adroit which was 351 feet long.

Re: Dunkirk General Information (2017)
These plains are being used for filming (they were licensed, at least): Two Spitfires from 1942 and 1947 , as well as a model plane. And a Spanish Hispano Buchon from 1949 in Luftwaffe colours, and a replica from 2002 of a Russian Yak-52 and a Bristol Blenheim. And 50 unmanned aircrafts. source: ht...

Re: Set Photos/Videos
To be clear, the Spitfire replica can NOT fly, so that is probably going to be the plane that gets catapulted into the water. Because of that I think the rumour that they purchased a $5 million vintage aircraft (just to crash it) is false.

Re: Set Photos/Videos
I think Tom Hardy will only film in Urk then? Maybe they scheduled it like that.
