Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

I have a feeling Whedon is gonna give us another unconvincing Thor in this. Only two lame lines throughout the whole three trailers certainly doesn't persuade me to feel otherwise.£ He's already got time-displaced dude (Cap), ego dude (Iron Man), angry powerful comedically blunt dude (Hulk). I'd ar...

Re: The Prestige writer says Sam Mendes was his first choice

What's his fucking deal? He was super into the film as it was coming out (which regardless of his thoughts at the time, he's probably contractually obligated to be super keen) But book's super similar -apart from the 2 other future parts of the diary and the structure of Angier and Borden's diaries....

Re: [SPOILERS] Are you watching closely?

The film's misdirect of the twins/clones 'twists' being the vital plot point of the film is one of its many talents.

Very cool. I sort of 'got' what the film was going for and leading up to; but not to the crazy extant th...

Re: Jurassic World (2015)

I'm still not buying into domesticated velociraptors. These are indifferent creatures of nature, not allies. Well it seems the whole movie's going for a modern zoo vibe and the social issues surrounding it; so I'm all for the domesticated raptors. It's inevitable we'll get a good raptors VS bad rap...

Re: What was the last movie you watched? V

Grand Piano Burn this movie. Burn it to the ground. I refuse to believe Damien Chazelle wrote a script this bad. I was laughing at things that were not supposed to be funny like horrible lines (see Spoilers), bad acting, some of the worst extras I have ever seen, and John Cusack. Embarrassing. The ...
