Re: La La Land (2016)
I like Stone much more than Lawrence, but I don't think prior to this, which I haven't seen yet, her performances have been as impressive as those from Lawrence. Hardly even close. She can be very likeable though. Something Lawrence has been constantly struggling with.£ I would agree that until now...

Re: La La Land (2016)
I honestly think Stone is a better actress than Lawrence, but Lawrence as always gotten the "better" roles. I hope this changes that. Cause Stone really is incredible in this.

Re: Mute (Duncan Jones)
Stoked for this. I'm on board with Duncan Jones. Warcraft wasn't good, but I think this suits him much more anyways. Just wish Domhnall Gleeson was in this as the lead.

Re: Star Wars: Episode IX (2019)
Yeah I'm in the camp thats against bringing dead people back with CGI... Its creepy and weird, and would have to be hard for the remaining family to see. Leia is also too iconic to recast (this is my problem with Han Solo spinoff as well, as Harrison as Han is just too iconic) Write her off, it can ...

Re: La La Land (2016)
if it's not (i think it is), it's really, really close Vader listed some stuff a few pages back, and while all his points are valid , i think the film easily transcends its issues He also said it was the best film of 2016 and it was close to being one tho lol so obviously he feels that the problems...

Re: First Man (Chazelle/Gosling Neil Armstrong Biopic)
i'll make sure to never refer to a human by their gender again, thanks wouldn't want to offend anyone The question that is being asked here is that, what the fuck Armstrong's gender has anything to do with the fact that he landed on Moon. He represented the humanity, not just one half of it. First ...

Re: First Man (Chazelle/Gosling Neil Armstrong Biopic)
I'll go ahead and predict that this is the film where Chazelle really starts to feel some backlash re: female characters. Its already starting to bubble up with La La Land (not enough/too late to hurt the movie though). I mean this is literally called The First Man . What kind of backlash is he fac...

Re: Logan (2017)
Yeah doubting Mangold and also Reynolds is weird. Based on the trailer there really isn't much sense in having Deadpool in this at all, would be tonally jarring.

Re: La La Land (2016)
Yeah this is easily the best movie of the year for me. I connected with this movie in such a huge way. I didn't think I'd like anything as much as Hunt for the Wilderpeople... but this managed to meet and exceed they hype and expectations.
