I agree. He had a lot of crazy shit going on in his life. I think the role was the least of his worries. I think this is cool and interesting. The voice comes off a little cheesy though...

I don't know. The voice just seems so out of left field (pun intended lol). I think this is Tom Hardy messing around. I could be wrong though and I'm not all that opposed if he does go with that...

I read an interesting biography that suggested he intentionally took roles, towards the middle of his carreer, to strip his Ten Things I Hate About You perception. It implied that he took roles that he new wouldn't be successful to destroy his image, so that he could build it back up.

Almost every interview i read, he has said over and over that he was unsure of doing blockbuster roles for a bevy of reasons. One being that he wasn't sure of his own ability and felt he would be destroyed by the media and the other being that he didn't want to be misinterpreted as a teen heart throb.

I may have my facts wrong, but I thought he was? Either way, he had other roles that he turned down for the same reason i.e. Spiderman

what's with all the grandstanding guys? the kid's got his views and he's not imposing them on anyone else. If anything a lot of you guys are coming off as the bias one's. bacon don't let people tell you who you are. I'm pretty shocked that you guys would attack someone like that.
