Re: BBC's Doctor Who

The Trump parody is so poorly handled in that its a caricature without any proper criticisms or deconstruction, in ideology or mentality. And combined with how poorly resolved the episode was (scratch that, there was no resolution), he ends up being the only person in the story to do the sensible th...

Re: BBC's Doctor Who

Worst episode of the season so far. I think it would have been fine if they just kept it to being a cheesy B-movie style monster episode, but the Doctor's whole "humane" solution was awful and without mercy.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Biggest problem I have right now is how often I use L2 to interact with an NPC only for Arthur to aim a gun at them and things just escalate automatically. I've already screwed up two random encounters because of it, and even if I reload a save they seem to be just gone forever. What's the point of ...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

So dumb question, if I have a friend that has a PS4 copy, I can’t get in trouble for just installing the disc in my system will I lol? Like no penalties from Rockstar or anything right? I’m guessing not, but I have no idea how those things work lol. You won't at all, you'd just need to have the dis...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Sorry if the post with how big the game is (storage space-wise) had this in it, but how long is it actually going to take to install and update before we can play the game? Is it going to be 9ish hours like Black Ops 4 where a ton of people wont be able to play it day 1 lol. Really considering driv...

Re: BBC's Doctor Who

Funny how you mention cringe cause the villain for this last episode felt like he came out of a pantomime. I laughed my ass off when you saw him start to just shake with rage at those pesky kids foiling his plans. Villain aside, I did really enjoy this last episode, but I've always been fascinated b...

Re: Diary: A NolanFans Story

One of my big regrets in life was when I botched a job interview for a local production company for an editor position. It wasn't exactly like landing a job for Syncopy or Legendary but it felt like a good opportunity and I looked up to the boss as I had studied under him as part of a workshop. I wa...

Re: BBC's Doctor Who

Although I do prefer the previous incarnation of it, I like this new TARDIS. Feels similar to the Davies era interior with a dash of the McGann film's. That sort of mix of organic and ornate, plus the Fortress of Solitude vibes M4 mentioned.

Plus it dispenses custard creams. Custard creams are good.

Re: Manga & Anime

The JoJo greatness is back. Two episodes into Part 5 and it's already a Gold Experience. Weird ending song choice though.

Re: Video Games Part II

Yeah I'll be skipping Fallout 76 on launch. Might pick it up after Christmas if word of mouth is good. Meanwhile, the Soul Calibur 6 beta ran surprisingly well (at least for me). Really looking forward to the return of the tale of souls and swords in ten days. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PT1An_ub...
