Blade Runner was dead-on average and not as good as the source novel. Before anyone asks, I saw the 2007 version, not the apparently godawful voiceover'd one.

However, I do accept the influence it's had on sci-fi and popular culture since.

Season 2's just finished broadcasting in the UK and I watched the first few eps with my parents - however, as I'm at University I'm unable to watch the rest of the season (parents have kept the epsiodes on Sky+ for me).
