Re: Oppenheimer - Awards Speculation

Glad we are talking about this. I think we (us, the NolanFans) might want to consider that WE can be doing a good deal of campaigning through socials on behalf of this film. After Andrea Reisborough got picked up last year, the takeaway is that the voting members of the academy are absolutely online...

Re: Interviews - Cast and Crew

So just finished listening to Chris and Emma with Kai Bird at CUNY - here were some great takeaways: 4. Chris mentioned he started off as a script reader - I hadn't heard him mention this before Remember in 2020 I was listening to an interview with one of the David O Russell producers(I don't remem...

So just finished listening to Chris and Emma with Kai Bird at CUNY - here were some great takeaways: 1. Chris name dropped Tacita Dean (sculpter) quite a bit a personal friend and influence 2. Chris did most of the screenplay over Spring and Summer of 21 - when he got stuck, he took a road trip wit...

Did they give any indication on when that recording will be available? I assume it'll be a few days, but curious if they were more specific.
Unfortunately no. I'll keep an eye out.

Re: Christopher Nolan For Making A Bond Movie?

I am also on team “no franchise” - I mean I’ll love whatever he does of course, but if I were a betting woman, I’d place money on it being more likely we get an original. I honestly am just always rooting for the Hughes film. I know right after Oppie it’s unlikely, but that’s the one.

I can't wait to own the book next month.
Just in case you guys missed it, you can get it on Kindle. Also… if you’ll go to google books and search it, you might find it for free (if it hasn’t been removed yet).

Re: Oppenheimer - Industry/Celebrity Response and Buzz

How the fuck so many smoothbrain cuckservatives are popping up here? Literally just came here wondering the same thing. I don't know how to tell you MAGA zealots the bad news, but Chris Nolan isn't making films for your agenda, no matter how you try to stuff them down that pipe. Second, Ben Shapiro...
