What's For Dinner?

After seeing a higher quality version of the trailer I am now of the opinion that
It is indeed just a shot teasing at the fact Bruce Wayne has a cane.

Tom Hardy as Bane

Don't ask me why, but I just love the way Bane holds his suspenders, it's in a few shots. It makes him look so dandyish!

Batman Begins was mediocre compared to Dark Knight

Batman Begins was more atmospheric and it had a tighter story arc, but TDK was much more ambitious, if a little sprawling at times. I'd say I like them both equally, but I will admit I did not like TDK the first time I saw it. Mostly because the third act is so fucking massive and has so much going ...

What's For Dinner?

Well I don't think it necessarily has to be the letter, but that's what first came to mind when I saw the scene.

What's For Dinner?

I posted this in another thread, but
If you watch the trailer you see a letter being placed on the tray, I think it is an allusion to Rachel's letter from TDK. Perhaps Alfred is going to reveal the truth to Bruce?

[SPOILERS] TDKR Theatrical Trailer

so i don't know if this has been covered before, but... right after the shot of the crowd at the stadium, when michael caine's voice comes in, there is this shot of what looks like a dining room table with a dish and dish cover on it. then from camera left, a figure comes into frame holding what lo...

[SPOILERS] TDKR 6-minute IMAX prologue

It really does make you feel the Imax, like that first shot of the grass moving is just a-mazingg, or as amazing as you'd imagine tall grass to be. But speaking of anti hero worship, there's this great quote by the American Socialist Eugene V. Debs that I think is apt: I am not a Labor Leader;...

[SPOILERS] TDKR 6-minute IMAX prologue

I really didn't like the intro with Commissioner Gordon and the line: ''it will be a very long time before someone inspires us the way he did.'' I kinda liked it because then it jumps to the Bane scene as if to say the next person to inspire the people of Gotham will be a terrorist mad man. It seem...

TDKR can't match TDK

Could the football scene have symbolic significance? I think so. If you were to do a post modernist reading of it, I'd say Bane is breaking the society of the spectacle by blowing up the football field and telling Gotham's citizens to take control of their lives instead of merely sitting on the side...

TDKR can't match TDK

Perhaps it's because I'm just a really gullible audience member, but I usually believe everything a movie is telling me. I think it's kinda silly to be like "well this would never happen!" I had a big problem with that when TDK came out, I tried to find every reason on earth to hate the movie, but u...
