[SPOILERS] What surprised you about TDKR?

bravo5 wrote:how much of a relative flop it was.
Flop? That terms only goes on movies that are a huge disappointment. TDKR has made nearly 800 million, and has good reviews (although not as good as TDK).

So who cried? I know I did. "You trusted me, and I failed you." :cry: I didn't cry, but my tears watered during Alfreds emotional talk with Bruce revealing he is leaving and that Rachel was not in love with Bruce and during Alfreds I failed you at the end in the Wayne Burial grounds. My eyes also w...

What surprised you about TDKR?

Bruce Wayne supposedly sleeping with BOTH Talia and Kyle.
Ha. The Nolan bros put a little Bond into Bruce's character this time around. He sleeps with Miranda once (or twice). Then at the end Selina is his girlfriend, so he's sleeping with her all the time. Bruce becomes a pimp!

Seen it 7 times. 8th and 9th this weekend. Saw TDK 10 times. So gonna match it with TDKR. Only in IMAX at Lincoln Square in NYC. Have to say the first time I saw it, which was a Thursday midnight, left me too overwhelmed to really be able to decide anything about the film. Over the course of the ot...

Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman

During my fourth viewing tonight, I had a total "Star Wars" flashback during the scene toward the end where Selina says, "Come with me." That whole exchange with Batman was Luke and Han Solo before the battle against the Death Star. "Attacking Bane isn't my idea of courage; more like suicide." :lol...

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

For me the film should have ended once Alfred sits down at the cafe table and looks over and justs nods and not reveal Bruce and Selina. Also I've heard people saying that Alfred was just dreaming this and that Bruce is actually dead? Dan You might wanna mention to those idiots that the novel prett...

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

Yeah I know that. :facepalm: That's a different Bat sitting in Applied Sciences. How did he escape the one that was blown to smithereens? Where does the autopilot function fit into that ? It's a significant detail. The novel confirms the aoftware applies to all the bats. There's no reason he would ...

Plot Holes {SPOILERS}

Cilogy wrote:Since when do we trust IMDb? This is the same site that actually listed DiCaprio as the Riddler in TDKR at one point. :facepalm:
The same site that has some people still showing up and saying that Bruce died and that Alfred was dreaming or hallucinating.

[SPOILERS] The Final Scene

WE needed to see Bruce . It was a payoff to the audience after the roller coaster journey we had been throught . Knowing he was moving on and may have a future with Selena was a sense of relief , and based on the reaction from the crowd each time I saw it , it would have been foolish not to give us...
