Re: Box Office

Possibly 75M+ for a biopic is fucking insane. Truly the Spielberg of our era and probably the last big star left of this industry.

This is the highest praise you can get.

Nolan's strength has always been his storytelling abilities even tho he is famous for his spectacle.
I'm so excited  .

Re: Box Office

It had a 37% increase in it second weekend. It will be above 100m by the time Oppenheimer comes out. It can easier make 150m in total. https://twitter.com/moviegainz/status/1680693731945771008?s=46 What a load of shit lol Seen it in a theater packed with people. Re: Oppenheimer - Early Reactions

Loving the JFK comparisons. I'll go as far as to say its the best edited film of all time. And if there's a film that has that sort of virtuoso editing of flawlessly cutting through time and different perspectives is Nolan's Prestige.

Re: Oppenheimer - Early Reactions

These people are truly insufferable.
Sadly, guys like Villeneuve are afraid of getting this backlash and end up empowering female characters for the sake of it.

Re: Oppenheimer - Early Reactions

https://youtu.be/Sk39cmIW-bQ Author of American Prometheus, Kai Bird has seen the film and was very positive about it. @20:30 minutes. I have seen the film last week and I'm not allowed to give the plot away, but if you've read the book you'll recognise the film and I am at the moment sort of stunn...

Re: Oppenheimer Official Stills/Posters

Hard to believe that's a real poster. How can it go through so many eyes and nobody has the balls to mention its absurdity and how misaligned is with the tone of the film.

You tell me that's a new Batman poster and I wouldn't even doubt it. Same exact tackiness.

Re: Trailer #2

I'm surprised how focused the trailer was on new mexico testing. Im a bit confused about the scope of the film at this point. I do feel that a huuuge chunk of the film we still haven't seen, but who knows. Agreed. On the other hand, i thought the same about TDKR/Interstellar and I was very wrong.
