Re: What does this film have that a 13 year old can't see?

This ain't a big action movie, though it has a little violence. There are two fight scenes and two kills. Also it contains footage of someone using drugs and contains dirty language. Where I live the ratings are different then the US. Here it's not named by R, X, Pg and that kind, but only with a nu...

Re: Inception (2010)

I'm a huge fan on Nolan's Batman. I'm really sad that Nolan's taking a break from Batman and doing Inception  I'm glad he takes a break: Right after the succes of The Dark Knight, I was already hoping for a new Nolan movie without Batman. I will explain why: After Batman Begins, which I think ...

Re: Is this Nolan's best film ever made?

Is watching Rated R movies in the US really a big issue? I hear a lot of guys about it, but here it isn't a big thing. Movie theatres aren't really checking ages (though basically they still are forced to by law) and on DVD it is never a big problem. Most of the young children (especially boys) have...

Re: Is this Nolan's best film ever made?

I disagree. The Dark Knight is a very good movie, though it isn't in my list of 5 best movies. The one Christopher Nolan movie that is, is Memento. The main point of my opinion is the way Memento plays with the audience. Leonard knows nothing of what happend before, so what did Nolan? He played the ...

Re: Inception (2010)

What about Cillain Murphy? I surely hope that he will play the main antagonist of the movie, in Batman Begins he was so... thrilling :D And so frightening. He would be a perfect villain in this film, too. Maybe Chris Nolan thinks this too :D I didn't thought he was thrilling and frightening in Batm...

Re: Why Insomnia Is The Least Respected Nolan Film

I actually can't really disagree with what you said. To start with, I do like Insomnia, but I don't love it. If I should rate all Nolan movies (except for Following, which I haven't seen yet), Insomnia would be ranked lowest, though it would still get a 7/10 rating. I also believe that Nolan could o...

Re: Dooble Bug

I saw this one on YouTube, though I already knew I wanted it on DVD.

Last Christmas, I got the Cinema 16: British Short Films DVD which includes Doodlebug. It's a funny short movie, though it ain't much of a story.
Director commentary was interresting though!

Re: Better on a second viewing

I have the DVD of this movie for about two years now. I was so amazed by it, that I decided to watch it very rarely. I mean, the story is so complex that I can still see new things in it. I've seen Fight Club a dozen times. I've seen almost everything now. The fun of watching Fight Club is a bit gon...
