Re: Radiothread

Hux is the mole?! Lol whatever, shoot him in the face.
This bothered me as well. Gleeson is totally wasted, and the
power struggle between Hux and Kylo set up in TLJ is absolutely wasted.

Re: Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Just saw this. I knew of the leaks before seeing this, and was expecting for the worst. Fortunately, the movie is not as "dumb" as the leaks sound on paper, IMO. I enjoyed it, but felt that the climax is not as cathartic and satisfying as it should be. EDIT: I will be seeing this again in 3 days tho...

Re: BBC's His Dark Materials

Yeah...
The intercision scenes did not feel as traumatic as they should be. Lyra and Pan did not even share a significant one-on-one scene after being rescued by Mrs. Coulter. :?
EDIT:
Ruth Wilson continues to deliver, though.

Re: Dark Waters (2019)

I don't know (yet) how much of this film was fictionalized, but damn this was depressing. Ruffalo was good.

Re: Radiothread

Not digging the lyrics, but the instrumental is excellent.

EDIT:
I'm not an expert, but it's interesting that the audio mixing feels different than the average Radiohead song. Radiohead's bass are not as "punchy" as it is here, and the songs generally have a more "uniform" volume levels.

Re: BBC's His Dark Materials

That was an interesting episode that would totally lose momentum when it flashed to the scenes of the kid living in modern day England with his mom. There is only three episodes left and I'm still not sure what that part of the story is about. Minor spoilers for books 2 & 3 Give it time, he will be...

Re: BBC's His Dark Materials

I don't mind most of the expository dialogue, but that narration threw me off as well.
