Deakins has used Alexa for like five years now, 2049 was mostly shot with Alexa Mini if I'm not mistaken. I believe it shares the same sensor as the 65, so not much of a difference. Listened to the TLJ score twice, in the cinema that is. It's ok but nowhere near special, just like TLJ itself. Listened to the BR2049 score numerous times at home, it's great. Really great. I just don't understand the academy.
