Re: Dunkirk Official Reviews Discussion
That's a hat-trick for Warner Bros. Gravity, Fury Road and now Dunkirk.£ Studios, please take note. Duh, but I'm saying what makes them a hat-trick for Warner Bros? By that logic you could name any three random WB successes... Besides we don't know how the box-office will turn out nor awards yet.

So now that I'm finally starting to feel hype in my veins I'm like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JghkG4WydNk Heh, I'm with you there...not sure when the last time I logged in here was but frankly until this point I was not all that excited for this film. :shifty: The war genre just isn't really my...

You would be wrong then. It's David Lean all the way. I don't see it. It's too "bleak" for a Lean vibe. But maybe there will be more shots invoking Lean in the film. I'd love that. I'm a much bigger fan of Lean's films than I am of Malick's. Hopefully it's neither; I get more of a Hitchcock vibe, t...

Do you guys smell that? Smells like pretentious douche. No? Maybe seeping in from another thread. Are you guys attacking lcbaseball22 based on comments they made on another thread? Nope, I base it on my own opinion and the internet lists of approval just corroborate said opinion.Hustler wrote:Oh FFS, do you base every decision of yours on an internet list of approval? This actress isn't in this database of beautiful faces, so she must not be beautiful. Coward.

Re: Which IMAX Film Cell do you have?
If genloovers had posted an image of Chastain from another scene I might be more inclined to agree (say any of the scenes with Michael Caine or from the "eureka" sequence) but she looks awfully haggard in the image he posted. Just a terrible image to select from the multiple Chastain frames in this ...

Re: things that do not add up:
Who else would be sending Cooper a message telling him to "STAY"? Certainly not "them". Idk, I suppose any way we look at there's no conventional logic. If you're a person of faith I'd say it's perhaps a message from God/higher power. I guess this is just one of those suspension of disbelief scenes...
