Re: Batwing

I don't see it happening... although, it didn't see how the batpod could work either at first and that was awesome. My money's on a...

Re: Significance of the Bird Trick

Towards the beginning when Sarah's nephew sees the bird trick and says crying "he killed it" and more significantly " but where's him brother?" It sort of symbolizes the two Alfred's (and their fates) This is what I love so much about the Prestige; every aspect of it is so applicable to that simple...

Re: "5 dead, 2 of them cops"

"At least ten dead; about four cops, two mob bosses, several hit men, a police commissioner, a judge, a kid posing as Batman, I was dead for a while; WHY DOES THIS MOVIE HAVE SUCH A LARGE BODY COUNT!!??

Re: is Batman the modern day Hamlet?

Check out Joseph Cambell's Monomyth cycle. It pretty much sums many aspects that show up in all heroic journeys. Both Hamlet and Batman are classic tragic heros, so naturally, they share many of the same character elements.

Re: 'The Prestige' is More Original Then 'Inception'

So... back to the Presitge...

Sure as a film it does seem more original than Inception, yet, you have to take into consideration that it wasn't original in the first place, it was based off of a book.

Re: Do you side with one of the characters?

Go Team Borden! Sure, one of them's kind of a jerk, but the good Borden is just trying to live a happy life with his family and his awesome job, it's not really his fault that Angier hates him, and his brother (I'm just assuming it's his brother) tied the wrong knot, his wife commits suicide... his ...

Re: Favorite scene - The Prestige

Tough question, the whole movie is amazing.
 Probably the ending when they reveal everything. When I first saw I practically jumped out my seat! No one else I was with got it though, so I had to explain it to them

  Yay for feeling smart!
