Have to remind myself that "award shows" are about being a show, and not about the art. Nolan should ditch the Oscars.

Ditto. Not that the trailer is bad, but I think TFA set up a rather uninspired foundation. I'm sure there'll be some surprises, but I can't see disney taking this anywhere but a relatively safe route.

Just wanted to chime in again and say, what an incredible movie. Got me teared up the second time, again. When the movie ended, pretty much everyone sat in silence. It's certainly in his top tier of films. I just want to see it again.

I'll second this. I'd love to see him tackle Alexander the Great. What's more epic then the story of Alexander? It was tried by Oliver Stone, and the film is pretty much a mess.
