Iron Man 3 (2013)

Mandarin is Chinese, though. Watanabe is Japanese. Won't make a difference. Kingsley was Indian, French, Persian...etc. It may not make a difference to you, but to me (being somewhat a Chinese) it would be extremely weird. I'll probably get used to the idea if it happened though  Another note,...

Dark Knight and The Hero's Journey

For me, it's more like this: The Main Hero (Bruce)'s Journey 1. The ordinary world............. Wayne Manor, the original life. 2. The call........................... The bats, the fear. 3. Being reluctant................. Refusing to face his phobia/obstacle, leaving the theater. 4. The encourageme...

I've always think she's one of Ra's people since after that scene she walks away with the fake Ra's.

foreign titles

The official Chinese title for The Dark Knight Rises has hit the net! 黑暗騎士:黎明昇起 (The Dark Knight: Rise of Dawn) I usually love the translation here, they're poetic most of the time since Chinese can express a lot with very few syllables. The Mainland often go with literal translation though, and so...

This film seems to get a lot of hate

I have heard a lot of people take shots at it lately. I love it. It would be on my top 20 favorite movies of all time. TDK is a top 5 for me, but BB is really good. I think a lot of Nolan fans say it's his worst because it has the most "cheese" compared to his other movies, and yes it does, but it ...

Do you think The Dark Knight Overshadows BB?

The sad thing is, TDK overshadowed most of Christopher Nolan's other films in the public eye.
Inception is probably the only exception.

Begins is just the most obvious. But personally though, I think the film that really suffered is The Prestige.

Will Bale contain that ridiculous rough voice?

As far as I know, only Americans do that. (Or Westerners.)
Search any Chinese Batman-related website, we all automatically assume the Batman used a voice-changer.

Your Guess: Will TDKR be the scariest of the trilogy?

Both Begins and TDK have scary moments: bats flying out of the box, Scarecrow and fear toxin, Batman-imposter slaming into the glass windew, the Joker video etc. But they're all fast and short. I think TDKR will be along the same line, with scenes more to shock than fright.
