Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

So uh, the laser/disc thing was kinda already there before the rest of the Death Star was really built yet in the trailer we see them installing afterwards http://i.imgur.com/QMgZjZL.jpg maybe they fucked it up yeah the first one was shitty and they'd already built the whole damn thing so they repl...

Same! When he opens the safe, the expression on his face as he looks at the windmill, then back to his father....so good!

Also, I think I may have actually cheered when he showed up in TDKR.

Re: James Cameron's Avatar Saga (2017...)

I'll watch this shit. I liked the original, a lot actually, and would prefer it as a standalone, but I'll watch this shit.

...if he ever fucking makes it.

Re: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) DEUX YOU BLEED

Alright, here's my thoughts. Loved Eisenberg and Affleck. I didn't mind the dark and sad tone, but I think we could have done with a FEW more lighthearted moments. Being the Nolan boards I would reference how intense and emotional TDK, Inception, and Interstellar are, but they all have very well pla...

Re: Untitled Batman Film

Uh, I don't have anything particularly insightful to share here. Just want to say Affleck is a great director, and I liked him in BvS, so I'm down.

Re: Warcraft (2016)

I'm really bummed about the negativity surrounding this. Sure it LOOKS like CGI, but I think it's beautiful. A lot of people just think of WoW when they hear Warcraft, not realizing how deep the story goes and how much they have available to pull from for movie adaptations. I'm really excited! Even ...

Re: HBO's Westworld

Heeeeeere's the thing. If the show is received well, I think most of this dramarama will blow over. Jonah is clearly very talented and if it turns out he was pushing things in the right direction then I think we'll be all set for more excellent work from him.

Re: Who will be the cinematographer?

I'm way too tired/lazy today to bother, but would someone else care to post up a couple stills and/or clips of some of the more impressive shots from Interstellar?

And guys, don't forget, Hoyt shot Her. Beautiful film.
