TDKR Wasn't What It Could Have Been

^Lol? In my opinion TDK is the best. In my opinion. IMO. Rises was still a better "film" but not as good a "movie" if you know what I mean.

TDKR Wasn't What It Could Have Been

Wasn't there a thread like this a couple months back called "TDKR did not realize its true potential"? Stop spamming my thread and post intellectually please, thank you. Fine. Here's my thought on the actual question - yes I do believe it could have been better and that it had a bunch of issues. St...

Would you have wanted a longer film, at the expense of IMAX?

And, again, it doesn't matter who was or wasn't there , it was his fingerprints, which are almost impossible to replicate. ... It is a plot hole because it literally doesn't account for how he escaped , and more importantly, why Batman just kind of forgot about him. With this logic, how ...

Would you have wanted a longer film, at the expense of IMAX?

Video evidence and the attack or not, Bruce's transactions were the only ones that occurred. And who were the ones there at the time that everyone saw executing some kinda trade? Bane and his men. You just made my point. Even if these were plot problems, which, these definitely aren't Um, they kind...

Would you have wanted a longer film, at the expense of IMAX?

Vader, I can see that my post was perhaps too harsh on the movie. So by accident to answer your question. And a life lesson - don't make judgements of humanity based on posts on an internet forum. That's a bad plan. I loved the last 120 mintues of the movie which I thought were much better paced tha...

Would you have wanted a longer film, at the expense of IMAX?

Since when has how the majority deems a film's success in a specific aspect made said aspect un-criticizable? Inception's largest and most frequent criticism is it's clunky exposition and insanely slow first hour (roughly, minus the opening). It's so awful that everyone I know who was an enormous f...

Would you have wanted a longer film, at the expense of IMAX?

Chris struggles with letting his films "breathe" too much anyway. Inception being a perfect example. If anything a time requirement helped him keep a brisk pace, which is how the film is cut in the first place. Apart from particular sequences that have a "long" time devotion for various reasons, th...

Would you have wanted a longer film, at the expense of IMAX?

Yes, absolutely. As much as I love IMAX, the limited runtime of 165 minutes ultimately hindered the pace, editing, and flow of the film. Some characters and relationships needed a lot more development. Certain scenes needed more time to breathe. I honestly wouldn't have minded a TDKR that was as lon...

Interesting. I wonder how the movie would have been different (if at all) if it wasn't for this. Then again, considering we never got an 'extended cut' I'd have to assume Nolan likes it the way it is. Well I can tell you that a BUNCH of stuff was cut out. There was an entire conversation about Bruc...
