Re: Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

I can see some similarity between the two but mostly with the public perception of the ending. "We didn't need to see that" "I would have prefered it to be open-ended". Whatever the case may be some people thought the endings to these films are ambiguous and I cannot fathom why would anyone think t...

Re: Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

It's a nice movie, a nice sci-fi but as a Blade Runner sequel it was kind of a disappointment. The ties to the original feel the least interesting part of it, and some of the plotting is shoddy as hell. Also...The Dark Knight Rises, right? Right? You guys already mentioned it, right? Cause...yeah. E...

It still has almost 1 million lead over Interstellar in US. It's practically locked it will pass it eventually.

Re: Nolan's next film after Dunkirk

My prediction is a big budget movie with Leo Di Caprio. Scorsese is entertained with the Irishman for quite a bit and he doesn't seem to have anything on his plate. I was just listening to Mind Heist though.

Re: Box Office

Any chances Dunkirk (186,309,000) will creep past Interstellars 188,020,000...it needs another 1.711 mil to tie it..should be an interesting final stretch..Interstellar definitely benefited from all the holidays in nov and dec..dunkirk just one holiday It will be close but i think it will pass. Re: Box Office

No film director has even been more steadily successful within an era than Christopher Nolan. Huge accomplishment. 500 in a row with 3 original movies! That's really insane, especially knowing how unique Interstellar and Dunkirk are.

He is, undoubtedly, the biggest name in the industry.

Re: Box Office

Nothing is ever adjusted for inflation. Never believe in charts (outside of a basic trend) adjusted for inflation. First, inflation is different from country to country. Secondly, exchange rates vastly vary which makes the whole dollars conversion ridiculous. Third, there's always different types of...
