Oscars are irrelevant...

... but

... This is good for the industry.
How is it good for the industry? Genuinely asking, not baiting.
Because he likes this movie and wants to see more like it.

Re: 2019-2020 Awards Season

I think this is the first year where I’ve heard of all the BP nominations.

Re: Little Women (2019)

The book is still better than the movie. I saw it in 35 mm. Was it filmed on film?

Officially tied with The Phantom Menace as the worst reviewed Star Wars movie on Rotten Tomatoes at 53%.
Had TPM not been rereleased, it would have a higher rating.

Well, you still gotta mention that the marketing for this one was just awful. Bad trailers, little presence when compared not even to Force Awakens but even The Last Jedi (which in itself had a much smaller presence than TFA).
It’s STAR WARS.

Re: Thor: Love & Thunder (2021)

You either die a great Batman actor or you live long enough to see yourself join the MCU. lmao Not sure why Bale is doing this theme park picture tbh. Ragnarok was far from their usual dull “this movie has been sponsored by Kevin feige” fair. He probably saw jojo rabbit and joker and got excited ab...

Putting most of the blame on the two female producers and not the two hacky male writers seems fairly sexist to me. Pointing out the genders of people seems fairly sexist to me. whatabouting and ignoring negative gender bias women artists face in the industry seems fairly sexist to me How are those...
