Re: RIP Stan Lee

Feeling torn up about this one, not gonna lie. I've had the pleasure to hear him give lectures and acceptance speeches in person, but still never formally met him. Still, his influence knows no bounds. Modern storytelling owes a lot to him.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

Story became a downright roller coaster and I feel like I'm getting close to the climax. Look at progress, see I'm 53% done.

Holy fuck.

Re: Video Games Part II

It's not about expectations. I had none. As a company, you don't hype up a 40 minute direct and then devote it all to stuff people don't care about. If that's all you can come up with, you gotta not reveal stuff so early on and then reveal it here. It's all about the follow through. Sakurai straigh...

Re: Video Games Part II

This is why you keep your expectations in check.

I'll admit, I would have liked to have seen Isaac, Spring Man and Shantae, but I was satisfied with just what was revealed at E3. Everything since then has been a bonus, in my eyes.

Re: Video Games Part II

I'd say it's a little bit of both. It takes every character the series has ever had, most of the stages (as far as we know), a whole bunch of new options and adjustments. I definitely think this is Sakurai trying to go all out and make the Ultimate Smash Bros.

Re: Video Games Part II

What were the SSB leaks? It's a very long and elaborate story. If you wanna know the details and look into it for yourself, just look up the Smash Bros Grinch leak (The Grinch bit'll make sense once you look into it). Long story short, some guy who worked at a printing company for promotional mater...

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2

So I had no clue a location like Saint Denis existed in the game. Wandering into it as I was exploring, especially at night, felt like entering another world. The immersion, world building and details are insane. I dunno if it's my favourite of the year so far, but it's definitely this year's Breath...
