Re: Most anticipated movies of 2015

Ten films I'm looking forward to with brief reasoning as to why: 1. Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Star Wars sells itself but after the bad prequels I'm hoping Abrams works some magic. 2. The Revenant - Director of Birdman, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy, and all of the crazy stories from the produ...

Re: The Hateful Eight (2015)

This feels much more like Reservoir Dogs than it does Django Unchained which I like a lot.

Re: The Martian (2015)

I was dragged into seeing this again and I have to say I enjoyed it much more during my second viewing. It's no Interstellar, Moon, or Gravity but it works as a popcorn flick. It really feels like a film that should have been released in the summer.

I'll adjust my score to a B

Re: AMC's The Walking Dead

I actually thought this was an excellent episode. It's certainly troublesome when a television show travels in circles and doesn't do anything to progress the plot, but that doesn't necessarily make a singular episode bad. A show can release a standalone episode every once in a while as long as it h...

Re: HBO's The Leftovers

Well that last episode was pretty great. Somewhat the sequel to the Matt centric season 1 episode "Two Boats and a Helicopter" I was somewhat worried this was going to feel like a retread of that excellent episode. "No Room At The Inn" does go over that familiar territory but through a different len...

Re: AMC's The Walking Dead

So that was the best episode of The Walking Dead I've seen in years. It was actually the best show I saw on television last week. Even if it's obvious that Glenn isn't dead , the scene itself was brilliantly done. The whole episode was actually frightening and full of tension with some truly horrifi...

Halo 5 Campaign Review Alright, so i finished the campaign two nights ago and after having let time pass for me to process my thoughts regarding it I figured I'd come here to give a brief review of the game's story. This isn't a complete review of the game as I haven't had enough time to get into th...

Re: FX's Fargo

Yeah the first season is great and it has been off to a great start this season. FX's programming in general has gotten very solid over the last few years. It's not on a HBO level but I'd put it right up there with AMC for quality.
