Re: The Post: The Thread

Saw the trailer before TLJ.
Plays out like pure oscar-bait.
Also, they're really slapping the make-up thick on Hanks aren't they.

A enjoyable, charismatic,sentimental ,eccentric mess .

Re: Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again (2018)

As bad as this looks ,and it does look truly awful,it'll be interesting to see if this continues to bring in the same (largely the mother +daughter) crowd as the original.I suspect it will but I've given up on predicting general audiences tastes for a while now.

Personally I would like Nolan to continue his interest in historical events such as Dunkrik (comfortably his best film since TDK) and follow it up with a film detailing The Battle Of Britain . Though I suspect Nolan will move away from such War related work for the time being and focus purely on som...

https://pmcvariety.files.wordpress.com/2016/09/lady-macbeth-tiff-2.jpg?w=1000 £ Agree with this. Florence Pugh is one to keep an eye on.Fabulous in Lady Macbeth. Personally would love to see Nolan work with Max Von Sydow before time catches up. Also its huge shame about the passing of Pete Postleth...
