Re: Avengers: Infinity War (2018)

If people honestly think that there will be no real consequences to the events of Infinity War, then you have not been paying attention to Russos' previous films. Each one of their films has had consequences, that has led to the events of the next one. I don't know why people might believe that Than...

Re: Nolan's Next Film

As upsetting as that would be, there is a certain epicness in Nolan never making another movie again. Like Dunkirk could be an insanely high level and fulfilling swan song. But yes, that's highly doubtful.£

Re: Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 (2021-22)

Fallout and Rogue Nation are two of my all time favourite action films, but I have a feeling that these next ones, with the level of influence that McQuarrie has now achieved with the other two, could end up being the real deals.£

Re: Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)

Well, I mean sure, Luke also got another hand, Han Solo was saved and Vader fulfilled the prophecy and brought balance to the force. But at the end of the day, Empire's ending still packs a punch. Hopefully Endgame is more satisfying than Return of the Jedi was though.£ Implies that Infinite War en...

His pornstashe and his reloading arms are going to be iconic for the fans of the series though, I expect. But those are about the only memorable things about him.£

Re: Mission: Impossible 7 & 8 (2021-22)

I don't know if it's more Cavill's fault or how he has been written, but he never comes across as someone who could have possibly masterminded anything or have some ideas about changing the world. He works better as the douchey henchman type. I would have much preferred, if he wouldn't have turned o...

Re: Star Wars Universe Discussion Thread

Again, I don't think the problem ever was that we enter into ST, with an immediate threat already at large. That was a fascinating beginning in theory actually. If Awakens had come out like only a few years after Return, you could argue that it feels a bit odd, but 3 decades has passed, obviously so...

Yeah, Lane is the interesting villain that I like to see more of. Not the case with Walker.£
