Those dudes contributed more to creating the toxicity of Star Wars culture than maybe anyone else, even if I thought they had okay takes on Star Wars (I don’t really), I don’t welcome their takes on that basis alone.

That's how I felt about Jungle Book too. I really enjoyed that, but I'm surprised its so acclaimed as such. The tonal changes were bizarre.

I finished The Brothers Karamazov, not only my first Dostoevsky but my first substantial piece of Russian Literature. I had read a lot of Tolstoy's philosophical writings but that's all. netflix only releases a small fraction of their data, they don't allow third parties to check that data, nor do they reveal their methods for aquiring that data. not saying that netflix couldn't pull a 40 million stat from somewhere but a lack of transparency + a clear agenda = little reason to tak...
