Re: what is christopher nolan weakness as a director??

I like very deliberately paced films, typically. Outside of Nolan, almost all my other favorite directors pace their films with a great deal of care and mastery, and Nolan tends to just blaze through things, cramming as much as humanly possible in the running time. I've always felt TDK/Inception wer...

Re: what is christopher nolan weakness as a director??

if I were to have one complaint with his films, its how a lot of various scenes are edited together. :problem:  :wtf: :wtf:  :wtf: :geek: :geek: They can be a little clunky. Okay, like in the last interview with Wally the guys said it cut just as Leo was going to go nuts? I agree with...

Re: Pfister/Nolan: BB or TDK?

While I completley respect everyone else's opinions, I literally can't comprehend not preferring TDK as it's a marvel in every way it can be. It just pushed everything, the medium, to an entirely new level I didn't think certain types of films were capable of.

Re: JGL IN TALKS FOR TDKR

I read through this (after having the idea) and didn't see that :wtf: Where was it? people(including me) mentioned him playing a detective...the only way to do this properly would to have the detective believe he is right, otherwise the character would be a two dimensional tim burton cliche OH, I s...

Re: JGL IN TALKS FOR TDKR

Please read this: I think I'm onto something. What if he plays a detective chasing batman clearly with the notion batman is this evil twisted figure who needs to be stopped, so in that sense he's a villain, but really only an antagonist, as he's actually a good guy who thinks he's doing good for th...

Altered scenes/shots?

I've heard some tidbits of information thrown around over the years that the hong kong scenes were filmed and this and that but had to eventually be done on green-screen or something... was any of the footage they got then actually 'good'? Does anyone know what was scrapped and what wasn't?
