This is also one of the main reasons why I’m not that excited. :problem:

Re: Anne Hathaway as Selena Kyle, Hardy as Bane!

Disappointed on both accounts (Villain wise, not actor/actress wise). This is probably due to the fact that I already have stereotype impressions of both characters from their “famous” appearances (Catwoman/ Batman and Robin). In Nolan we trust though, right? Wow, first trailer is going to...

Re: The INCEPTION Oscars® Discussion Thread

But hey, it's just an awards show, its enterntainment, nothing else; this doesn't take anything from the magic of Inception and the immense, almost infinite talent and intellect of Mr. Nolan. Well, as obvious as this may seem, many other people don’t. That’s why I am confused. A movie about faceboo...

Re: Inception Voted #1 Trailer of 2010

Trailer offered the audience a minimal plot outline while leaving out so many great details and turns. You get it, but yet you have no idea who or what is going on. I remember the good days when we thought Arthur was the bad guy  Fantastic music, great clips … Oh, easily the best trailer for 20...

Re: The train was underused

The moment the viewer gets shocked by the train that slams into the traffic a certain emotional effect that echoes within him, that wouldn't be achieved if the train shows up another time. All that would achieve would be a 'Oh Come On!'. On the other hand The Matrix proved to go very well with the ...

Re: The train was underused

Yeah, it was underused, maybe it could've been used a little more. But I disagree with how it should've also featured in the second dream level. That would've ruined the task especially since the place was in an indoors and very silent area. Although, the freight train does serve a purpose, if you'...

What problems/issues you had with Inception?

Seeing that train rumble through the first dream sequence was surely something an average person does not see everyday. After another viewing, I realize now that the train was only used as a spectacle and did nothing to intensify or contribute to a sequence of events. In the second dream level...

Re: How should Batman 3 end?

Batman getting killed would be stunning. I don't know how or why, but having a famous hero die would certainly cause a ruckus amongst the ranks of fans and audiences alike. I think Nolan can make this happen. And please, leave out the ambiguous stuff. I don’t need Batman to die only for the film to ...
