Re: Cast End Credits Billing Order

I know Cain's not high on the list, but is he perhaps in more scenes than we previously thought (the two seen in the trailer)?

Re: I must be the only one who prefers this to TDK

at the end of the day i hope they have a non-linear structure to batman 3 i know TDK was pretty straightforward, but so is BB to an extent. As opposed to Memento and The Prestige (and perhaps Inception as well?), BB is a pretty linear film. There's the story of him becoming Batman (in prison, the l...

Inception was on my sidebar. I 'liked' it, RSVPed to opening weekend, and forwarded it to all my friends :D

Re: Inception early tracking vs salt

Everyone keeps mentioning that word of mouth is going to be what sells people on Inception. I completely agree which is why I am excitedly anticipating July 8th when the embargo is lifted and the internet is flooded with dozens and dozens of positive reports from Inception screenings. is july 8th o...

Nolan WWII

W/ all this genre talk about potential Nolan projects, I thought I'd throw a different one into the mix: war, but to be more specific, WWII. I didn't think about this until I saw the flashback sequences in Shutter Island (a film I think Nolan himself could've taken a stab at). It's the 30's/40's, so...

What Actors Would You Like To See Nolan Work W/ Again?

* A derivative on a previous thread, so if there is any need to merge or something, please do so. Nolan has worked w/ a diverse group of actors in his ten years as a filmmaker, and has already shown he's willing to work w/ some of them again and again (Michael Cain, Cillian Murphy). Of his past coll...

Re: I trust INCEPTION will avoid carte blanche syndrome

Sorry, I know this is off topic, but Spielberg's 1941 was NOT a box office flop. Sure it didn't make anywhere near the money of Jaws or Close Encounters, but it did make a profit nonetheless.

Inception on the other hand just oozes of greatness from the looks of it... so no need to worry :D

Re: Charlie Rose interviews Bale and Nolan

I'm almost suprised he didn't do one for The Dark Knight or Prestige, especially considering his newfound success after Batman Begins. Its apparent he wound up on the show not only because of the fact that he was helming the reboot of the Batman franchise, but because it came after his sucess in ind...
