Re: Let's talk about: Page 34 - NOLAN FILMOGRAPHY DISCUSSION

Saw Insomnia for the first time today. After also seeing Following for the first time 2 weeks ago I kind of expected there to be some twist or dynamic story telling somewhere, so at first I was kind of disappointed. But I got over that pretty quickly and gotta say the movie was really good. Even tho...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

It was reported a while ago that Chris' cousin Miranda is gonna play a nurse. And if I remember correctly there are also some French women who are in it too.

Re: Let's talk about: Page 34 - NOLAN FILMOGRAPHY DISCUSSION

Memento is absolutely a masterpiece. After seeing it for the 4th time today (I think), I still couldn't remember exactly how everything was, which made it a really great viewing. I don't think I can say that for any other movie I've seen 4 times over like 6 years. It occured to me now that this stor...

Re: Let's talk about: Page 34 - NOLAN FILMOGRAPHY DISCUSSION

I know it's over time (for me at least), but since we haven't really started on the Memento discussion yet I might as well give you my take on Following, since this was my first time watching it! (Thanks m4st4 for straight out convicing me to watch it by providing the Youtube link. I figured, why th...

Re: Teaser/Trailer#1

I would agree. But, take an intense scene without gore, such as the shower scene in Hitchcock's Psycho. Since we never see the knife penetrating the skin, it puts it in our imagination rather than showing the detail on screen. If the acting, editing, directing, and music are all intense - the reali...

Re: Teaser/Trailer#1

Now this is what I call a teaser. There is no IMAX cinemas in Norway, so I might have to jump on a flight to London or something next July.

Re: Teaser/Trailer#1

[...] Are you pretty sure only US, UK and Australia got the trailer? I really don't know that much about these things, but does it really make sense that only some countries get the teaser? If it's a fresh trailer from a movie this big coming from WB, I feel like it would be super weird if they did...

Re: Teaser/Trailer#1

I think the TDKR teaser is great too. Just hearing that Rise theme makes me want to watch the movies.
