Re: Dunkirk General Information

Certainly no modern filmmaker. Only Lean, Kurosawa, Kubrick, and maybe 70s/-90s Spielberg have him beat, and Nolan's not even 20 years into his career. This is honestly incredibly untrue. First, you have to define what "grand" film is, but regardless there's many, many filmmakers who've worked on a...

Re: Dunkirk General Information

So do we know when filming will reportedly be done? I remember reading at the beginning of September somewhere...

Re: Teaser/Trailer#1

Don't really know why Warner Bros. would do this. Release it into theaters and then release it officially a day later. Just doesn't make any sense. When the Star Wars: TFA teaser premiered in theaters, it was instantly released online, if not before. You should use all this hype to your advantage. M...

HD could easily convince me otherwise.

Anyway for me to download this thing?
Completely disagree with you. That's my favorite shot! Shows the visceral nature and scale of the film. The other shots didn't really do that.

Re: Dunkirk Fan Art Thread

These started out decent, but have went downhill fast. I could have put a world war 2 photo in the background, but I just find it aesthetically stupid to do that. That's now how movie poster look like. Saving Private Ryan never had a huge war scene on the poster. It was faces for the most part. And...

http://s1.postimg.org/h6r1kj0i7/DUNKIRK.jpg First poster I ever make. Hope you guys like it... #DynamoIsHere Great poster, but phrase "Dynamo is here" isn't correct for me due to the fact, that war epic drama is always tragic and brutal story, not for fun. As for me. Who said "Dynamo is here" means...

Re: Who will be the cinematographer?

Did we all of a sudden forget how incredible Interstellar was visually? I think even the biggest critics of that film couldn't deny the movie was visually stunning. Yes Wally Pfister is a huge loss, but don't be silly and dismiss Van Hoytema. He's a brilliant cinematographer... Nolan would be very g...

Re: UNTITLED NOLAN FILM (2017)

To those complaining about the Rated R nonsense, It makes no sense whatsoever for him to make a Rated R film. He has never been THAT type of filmmaker, and probably never will be. And remember, you can get away with a lot in PG13 films these days... It's not like in the 90s. I do believe the World W...
