Re: Nolan's Next Film

If there's no annoucement by the end of the year, I would be surprised. But that still leaves us with 4 more months. So I think we have reached the time when it's plausible to expect an announcement of some sorts in the near future. I think perhaps between thanksgiving and Christmas we will hear so...

Re: Nolan's Next Film

I think it's pretty safe to say we can expect some kind of an announcement between January to March. I don't think we will get any news this year. It seems like he's going to be working on the script till end of the year, and start production in the middle/end of 2019 for a 2020 release date.

Re: Dunkirk Awards Season Discussion Thread

Best Score Best Sound Mixing Best Sound Editing Best Editing These 4 are a lock. There's no way any other film will win those other than Dunkirk. People have to remember, that Baby Driver and Blade Runner 2049 wont be nominated for Best Picture. That affects the final outcome. Voters are much more c...

Re: Nolan's next film after Dunkirk

I think making a horror film is definitely a no brainer. Especially after watching Dunkirk, the way he taps into the horror genre for some of the scenes... It's amazing. He played around with horror elements in Batman Begins, and Dunkirk. But that being said, I don't think we'll get a horror movie a...

Re: The Marionette - Crowdfunding Campaign Launched

Not yet. I know its tough, hopefully we manage to get something... I just don't know how to get the word out, so it's really appreciated if anyone helps around here. Marketing is definitely my weak point... LOL

The Marionette - Crowdfunding Campaign Launched

Hey Guys, I finally launched the campaign for my short animated film - The Marionette on Zoomaal, a crowdfunding site like Kickstarter. I just want to share it with all my Nolan Fans peeps. I know I'm not very active on this site. 20+? posts only... But I really do visit this site on a daily basis. ...

Re: Posters and Official Images

I was a bit lukewarm on the poster, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. My main gripe was the composition of the poster. The way the text is laid out, how it touches the very edge of the poster. There's no offset. It's very unconventional. It has an unknown actor taking up the entire shee...

Re: Running time?

I think this is fantastic! I think we were all worried that every Nolan movie after The Dark Knight Rises will be 2 Hours and 45 minutes. It's refreshing to see a much more tight film this time around. A good filmmaker knows how long his film needs to be to keep the audience engaged. Gravity was aro...
